Debit Card Transactions and Electronic Benefit Transfer
Processing Debit Cards Drastically Lowers Your Fees
Debit Card transactions are those where a bank account is used to fund a sale. Typically a Personal Identification Number (PIN) is used in conjunction with a card swipe. The cardholder enters their PIN into a PIN Pad resulting in a more secure transaction for both the bank and the customer. In addition to low credit card processing rates, National Transaction also processes debit cards. Using a PIN Pad and swiping a debit card can drastically lower your monthly processing fees. This is because we can set up debit cards to be one fee, regardless of the total transaction amount. 0% transaction fees and one fixed, very low rate for any transaction amount.
Electronic Benefit Transfer
Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) is an electronic system that allows a recipient to authorize transfer of their government benefits from a Federal account to a retailer account to pay for products received. EBT is used in all 50 States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and Guam. EBT has been implemented in all States since June of 2004.
